There is competition at every turn for good talent, which in many cases may well push Australia down the ladder when it comes to choices concerning "where". It is fair to say that the re-opening of international borders has not exactly produced a flood of digital talent that we had all hoped for. In a post-covid world there can be little doubt the impetus to travel to the farthest corners of the earth will have been diminished, as what was once readily assumed regarding returning home (for an emergency say) can not so easily be assumed now.
